Mahashakti group has its roots in the companies started by the founder late Shri Sagarmalji Kanodia, father of our current chairman Mr. Bijay Kanodia. The group started in 1965 as an engineering company with its arms into flour milling, Steel roll mills and engineering goods & services.

The current Mahashakti Group is an association of a dozen firms and companies having manufacturing activities in diversified fields and into Tading & Exim businesses. The Group has its first manufacturing company promoted and started by Sri Bijay Kumar Kanodia with and in name of his son Mr. Ashish Kumar Kanodia in the name and style of MAHASHAKTI ENGINEERING WORKS at 94, Dharmotalla Road; Howrah -711101 in the year 1997, in status of proprietorship. The main activity of this concern was manufacturing, supplying and commissioning of Grain Cleaning and Milling Machineries.

In course of time with association of other persons Mahashakti Group expanded and indulged in diversified manufacturing, trading and export-import activities at intervals and has presently around a dozen companies having functions o of stockist & trading in Granites, Marble and tiles; manufacturer of Corn and Rice grits and flour; Manufacturer of HDPE/MDPE Pipes and fittings; Manufacturer of Wheat Flour; Working as Govt. Contractors; Film Production; Exporter of Granites, Cereals and Machineries, Importers of Poly granule; Manufacturer of Paver blocks and fly ash bricks; Manufacturer of Poly Tarpaulin, Manufacturer of Poly (HDPE) Fabrics.

In certain fields Mahashakti Group has association of Narayani Group and has further plan to expand in diversified businesses in near future. Presently Mahashakti Group has its footprints at Howrah(West Bengal), Patna (Bihar), Dhaka/Bogura(Bangladesh), Burdwan(West Bengal) and Guwahati (Assam).The core team of Mahashakti consists of techno-commercial experts and professionals across various industiries and functions.
